Helen		 Birds Stolen-  Ocala, Florida.  2 Pair of Toco Toucans and 1 pair of Keel Bill Toucans ( aka Sulphur Breasted) were stolen from a breeding facility in Ocala, Florida between 10:00 - 10:30pm Monday night October 8th.  The one pair of Toco's has open leg bands and the male to that pair, has a marked up beak from hollowing out the coconut log. This pair will fly to you and are very, very tame. The other pair of Toco's are not friendly and do not like eye to eye contact. The keels are also very friendly.

Robin		 Blue and Gold Macaw-  He has been spotted in English Turn in lower Algiers-
Buc was lost 3 weeks ago when we were moving.   If anyone has any idea's how to catch him we

Julie		 Cockatiel- Lost Monday morning, July 2, 2007 near Houma Blvd and West Metairie-
I almost caught him yesterday evening, but the weather started changing and he flew away.  I have a female he's been with for the past two years. I put her outside with the cage early this morning hoping he might come back around.  No luck. He is cinnamon grey and white, yellow face and orange cheeks.  His name is Chicken and he cackles like a chicken.  He will whistle back to you too.

Kala		 Eclectus pair were stolen from a home on Country Club Blvd in Slidell-
on Saturday, June 23rd between 8:30 and 10:00 PM. The birds were the property of Louisiana Aviculture Society and were in separate cages. They were very gentle & there is a reward for their recovery.  Anyone with information should contact Kala Corcoran at 985-809-3442 or

Ann Williams

 Stolen- Someone broke into Ann's home in Lake Forest Estates in New Orleans East and stole 7 birds. They stole 3 Female Eclectus some un-banded & some with the Band Code LH + yr + ### ,  a Male Eclectus and 3 Sun Conures, some with the band code A&R + yr + ###.  Anyone with information should call Ann Williams @ 710-2902.  Todd Hensler has been arrested & 2 Eclectus females were recovered after being sold by his sister Tonya Mancuso. The other birds have not been recovered, and anyone with any information relating to this crime or criminals should contact Alicia Bennette in the New Orleans District Atty's office at 504-571-2820. They say they killed the birds because they were bit, but it is more likely they don't want to reveal the identity of the person who has the other birds.

 Stolen- Someone broke into Barbara's home and stole 6 birds. 
He took a closed banded Senegal, band # CND-05-09; a closed banded Yellow Sided Conure (Bob Davis's band); a Red Bellied Parrot; a Lutino Love Bird; a Creamino Love Bird;  a very uniquely marked Love Bird which had one side yellow with a red face, and the other side blue with a white face.   Barbara has a suspicion of the thief's identity, but insufficient evidence for the JPSO to investigate the person. If you have any information, seen the birds or know anyone on Dorothy St in Avondale who now has similar birds, please call Barbara at 504-436-6745
